Sidney
Broughton was born on 4th December 1907 in Pakefield and was
the son of Lemuel Charles Broughton (b.1878) and Daisy Pomfrey.
After serving for many years in the Royal Navy, he became a
gardener at the Royal Naval School of Gunnery in Whale Island.
Sidney married Stella Benns in Lowestoft and died in Portchester,
Hants in 2001. |
