ROBERT BROUGHTON (1856 - ?)
Robert Broughton was born in 1856 and was baptised on 14th September. He was the son of William Broughton (1813) and Elizabeth Tharston. He was the grandson of Samuel Broughton (1787). In 1861 he was living in Billingford. In 1871 he was aged 14, was working as a labourer and was living with his parents in Plumstead Road, Edgefield.
