CHRISTOPHER BROUGHTON (1689 -1760)
Christopher Broughton was born in 1689 and christened on 28th April 1689 at Edgefield. He was the son of Edward Broughton (1655) and Ann Loades. He married Elizabeth Semmons on 18th August 1709 at Edgefield. She died in 1710 and there were no children. He married Mary Paretree at Edgefield in 1715. Christopher died in 1760 and was buried in Edgefield on 1st December 1760.
