WILLIAM BOOTH (1840 - ?)
William Booth was the son of John Booth (1800) and Ann Cunliffe, and was born on 22nd January 1840. He was christened on 1st March 1840 at St. Katherine's, Blackrod. In 1851 he was living in Blackrod. In 1861 he was aged 21, was working as a shoemaker and was living in Little Scotland, Blackrod. He married Mary Barton at St. David's, Haigh, in 1863 and they were living in Little Scotland, Blackrod, in 1871 and 1881. William was a watchman. He had died by 1901.
