Thomas
Boland was born in 1831, in County Kildare in Ireland. He married
a woman from Kildare called Ann Giligan. He was living in Cuckney,
Nottinghamshire, in 1859 and was a farm labourer. In 1861 he was living
at 48 Newgate Street, Worksop. There is no trace of the Boland family
in 1871 and they may well have moved back to Ireland. He became a
bricklayer and was dead by 1897.
