Mary
Allison was born in Wapping in 1864 and was the daughter of Samuel
Allison (1828) and Mary Ann Goodliffe. In 1871 she was living in St.
George in the East, London. In 1881 she was a pupil teacher in Bermondsey,
living with her parents. She married Charles Pomfrey (1862) in London
in 1899. In 1891 and 1901 she was living at the forge in London Colney,
Shenley, Herts.
