AINSCOUGH (1874 - ?)

Thomas
Ainscough was born around 1874 in Blackrod and was the son of James
Ainscough (1843) and Mary Ann Waring. In 1881 he was living in Little
Scotland in Blackrod. In 1891 he was working as a coal miner and was
living at 384 Manchester Road in Blackrod. In 1901 he was single and
was living with his parents at 278 Atherton Road, Hindley. He was
a coal miner. He emigrated to Argentina in 1920 and became a Nazarene
(Wesleyan) missionary. Thomas was ordained in Buenos Aires in 1938
by Dr. John Morrison. He married an Argentinan woman and had at least
1 son.
