ROBERT AINSCOUGH (1882 - ?)
Robert Ainscough was born around 1882 in Pemberton and was the son of Thomas Ainscough (b. 1854) and Ellen Parkinson. He was the grandson of William Ainscough (b. 1816). In 1891 he was aged 9 and was living at 21 Turners Yard in Pemberton. In 1901 he was aged 19, was working as a fireman in a coal mine and was still at Turner's Yard.
