| Ralph
Ainscough was born in 1712 and christened (as Ralph Aynscow) on 22nd
March 1712 at St. Katherine's Church in Blackrod. He was probably
the son of Ann Ainscough (b.1690), and he married Ann Heton around
1732. Ralph is the oldest known male Ainscough in the direct family
line.
