PETER AINSCOUGH (1878 - ?)
Peter Ainscough was born around 1878 in Blackrod and was the son of James Ainscough (b. 1843) and Mary Ann Waring. He was the grandson of William Ainscough (b. 1816). In 1881 he was aged 3 and was living in Little Scotland in Blackrod. In 1891 he was aged 13, was working as a coal miner and was living at 384 Manchester Road in Blackrod. In 1901 he was aged 23, was single and was a coal miner. He was living with his parents at 278 Atherton Road, Hindley.
