WILLIAM AINSCOUGH (1865 - ?)

John
William Ainscough was born around 1865 in Blackrod and was the son
of James Ainscough (1843) and Mary Ann Waring. He was the grandson
of William Ainscough (1816). In 1871 he was aged 6 and was living
in Cock Tavern Yard, Blackrod. In 1881 he was aged 17, was working
as a drawer in a coal mine and was living in Little Scotland, Blackrod.
He married Dinah Dickinson in 1890. In 1891 he was aged 26, was working
as a coal miner and was living at 646 Chorley Road, Westhoughton.
He was living at 176 Atherton Road in Hindley in 1901.
