Imin Ainscough was born on 6th November 1906 in Horwich and was the
daughter of George Ainscough (b.1870) and Mary Ellen Winward. She
married Jim Laithwaite in 1934 and they had one adopted son. The name Imin
was used by earlier generations of the Mangnall family - who married
into the Winward family. She died around 1956.
