Fanny Ainscough was born around 1894 in Pemberton and was the daughter of Solomon Ainscough (1867) and Mary Beardsmore. She was the granddaughter of John Ainscough (1839) and the great-granddaughter of William Ainscough (1816). In 1901 she was aged 7 and was living at 141 Enfield Street, Pemberton.
