CHARLES AINSCOUGH (1880 - ?)
Charles Ainscough was born in Blackrod around 1880 and was the son of James Ainscough (b. 1843) and Mary Ann Waring. He was the grandson of William Ainscough (b. 1816). In 1881 he was aged 1 and was living in Little Scotland, Blackrod. In 1891, he was aged 10, was at school and was living at 384 Manchester Road, Blackrod. In 1901 he was aged 20, was single and was working as a coal miner. He was living with his parents at 278 Atherton Road, Hindley.
