| The
Dome cinema on Worthing seafront dates from 1910. It was originally the
Kursaal but the name was changed in the early days of WW1 - too German
for public taste. It's had a chequered history over the years, often on
the point of being torn down or altered or closed or turned into
something else. Finally, in 2007, it stabilised and is now owned by a
local trust. The tea room is one of my favourite haunts in the town..
