Bosham is situated on one of the inlets
of Chichester harbour and is reputed to be one of the ancient harbours
where crusaders landed on their return to England. Canute's daughter is
buried in the church. It's a fascinating place, with a small harbour,
the widening estuary running out to sea - and a propensity for flooding
the cars of tourists who park near the beach without observing the tide
tables. Click on a thumbnail to display
