LANGHAM CHURCH

Langham Church by Richard Tillbrook
Great-grandfather Edmund Pomfrey married Mary Timbers from Binham in Langham Church in November 1865. There is a plaque in the church to the memory of soldier and author Captain Marryat. The main road through Langham village runs past this view of the church. The village has changed a little since then - mainly with the coming of the Langham Glass factory and shop just round the corner from the church - but the feeling of the old village remains.
