Stanley Ainscough was the son of Benjamin Ainscough (1871) and Mary Alice Woolley. In 1901 he was living at 198 Newton Road, St. Helens. In 1911 he was living at 50 Ringley Fold, Stoneclough, near Manchester, and was a haulage winder at a coal mine.
