Martha Eke was born in Kensington in 1875 and was the daughter of Thomas Newton Eke (1842) and Emma Huntingford. In 1881 she was living at 27 West Side, Kensington. In 1891 she was living at 27 All Saints Road in Kensington. In 1901 she was living at 22 All Saints Road and working as a dressmaker.
