Notes for Samuel PEACOCK
Samuel Peacock was born in 1779 at St. Neots. He married Lydia Smith in Cardington on 19th July 1807. He probably fought in the Peninsular War. In 1841 he was living with Lydia in Coltishall and was a sergeant in the 13th Light Dragoons. Lydia died and he married a woman called Mary. In 1851 he was living with Mary near the Yarmouth Road in Flegg and was a Chelsea Pensioner. In 1861 he was living in Purday's Loke, Caister. He died from chronic bronchitis in Caister on 7th January1862.
