Abigail Lucinda Winward was the daughter of Peter Winward (1832) and Lucinda Abigail Bingham and was born in Payson, Utah, on 4th September 1856. She married Franklin Ballard around 1878. In 1880 she was living in Payson. She died on 31st August 1943. Abigail and Franklin had at least one child: Zella May (1879).
