John Holding was born in 1865 in Hindley and was the son of John Holding (1830) and Mary Coman. In 1871 he was living in Ladies Lane in Hindley. In 1881 he was living at 7 Longfield Street, Aspull, and working as a machine clerk. He died in the Wigan RD in 1884.
