George H. Timbers was born around 1889 in Kingston, Surrey, and was the son of Joseph Timbers (1834) and Eliza Pym. In 1891 he was living at 2 Park Road, Kingston. In 1901 he was aged 12 and was living with his parents at Bellevue, New Clifton Road, Kingston.
