Notes for William Rawston
William Rawston was born around 1819 in Little Walsingham and was the son of William Rawston (1784) and Mary Ann Folker. In 1841 he was working as a draper and was living in Stonegate Street, Little Walsingham. In 1851 he was a grocer and draper shopman and was living in Stonegate Street. He died from phthisis - probably pulmonary tuberculosis - in Little Walsingham on 13th August 1851. Sarah Woodgeld, the prison turnkey's wife (the Woodgelds lived in Stonegate Street) was present at his death.
