Robert Purdy was the son of Robert Purdy (1829) and Ann Maidstone, and was christened in Burnham Westgate on 23rd May 1858. In 1861 he was living in Burnham Westgate. In 1871 he was working as a baker's boy and living in Burnham Sutton. In 1881 he was working as a blacksmith and was living in Fern Hill Terrace, Newchurch, Lancs. Robert died in 1890.
