Evelina Purdy was the daughter of Robert Purdy (1829) and Ann Maidstone, and was born in Burnham Sutton in 1860. In 1861 she was living in Burnham Westgate. In 1871 she was living in Burnham Sutton. She married Thomas Tattersall in 1878. In 1881 she was a cotton weaver and was living at 15 Acre Row, Spotland, Lancs. In 1891 she was living at 31 Union Street in the Newchurch area of Rawtenstall. In 1901 she was aged 44 and living in Newchurch.
