Minnie Purdy was the daughter of Robert Purdy (1829) and Ann, and was christened in Burnham Westgate on 30th October 1864. In 1871 she was living in Burnham Sutton. In 1881 she was working as a cotton weaver and was living with her parents in Fern Hill Terrace, Newchurch, Lancs. She married in 1884.
