Herbert Thomas Pomfrey was the son of Edmund Pomfrey and Mary Timbers. In 1891 he was aged 3 and was living at 4 Sydney Cottages, County Villas in Lowestoft. In 1901 he was living in Victoria Terrace, Fakenham. In 1911 he was working as a grocer’s assistant and living in the household of his sister Lilias Margaret and brother-in-law, Thomas Purdy, in the High Street, Little Walsingham. He was living at 12 Wolseley Road in Chelmsford in 1959, and he died in Chelmsford on 26th October 1959, aged 71.
