William Pomfrey was born in Barnet in 1902 and was the son of Charles Pomfrey (1862) and Mary Allison. In 1911 he was living in the High Street, London Colney. He married Louisa Davis in the Barnet RD in 1929. He died in the Watford district in 1935, aged 33. He married Louisa Davis in the Barnet RD in 1929.
