John Folker was born in 1783 in Burnham Sutton and may have been the son of John Folker and Ann Ellis. He may have been the brother of Mary Ann Folker (1786). He married Jane Holmes in Norwich on 22nd November 1808. In 1841 he was working as a tailor and living with his brother Richard in the Market Place, Burnham Westgate. In 1851 he was working as a tailor and draper, and living with his brother Richard in the Mill House, Burnham Westgate.
