William Browne Flood was born in Thursford around 1840 and was the son of Robert Flood (1791) and Margaret. In 1851 he was living in Thursford. He married Elizabeth Pogg from Thursford in 1858. In 1861 he was working as an agricultural labourer in Thursford.
