Hannah Frances Eke was born around 1844 in Corpusty and was the daughter of Jonas Eke (1803) and Martha Reynolds. In 1851 she was living with her parents in Corpusty. In 1871 she was living at 27 All Saints Road, Kensington, with her widowed mother and brother Thomas, and working as a governess. In 1881 she was living with her brother Samuel in Sevenoaks, where she worked as a schoolmistress. In 1891 and 1901 she was living at 20 Fordingley Road, Paddington, and working as a music teacher in an elementary school. She died in 1906.
