Daplyn Eke was born in Binham in 1854 and was the son of William Eke (1826) and Elizabeth Daplyn. In 1861 he was at school in Great Walsingham. In 1871 he was living in Great Walsingham and working as a builder. He died in Walsingham in 1877 at the age of 22.
