George William Attoe was the son of George William Attoe (1820) and Mary Thurston and was born in Catton in 1856. In 1861 he was living in Lime Kiln Lane, Catton. In 1871 he was working on his father's farm in Catton. He married Eliza Baker in 1876. In 1881 he was living in Spixworth Road in Catton and listed as a farm servant. In 1891 he was living in Sutton Road, Wymondham, and farming. In 1901 he was farming at Elm Farm, Tasburgh. He died in 1904, aged 57.
