Robert Riesberry was born either in Edgefield or in Chingacousy in 1839 and was the son of Thomas Robert Riseborough (1798) and Sarah Broughton. He married Agnes Burford Bedford on 24th March 1869 and died in Bright, Ontario, on 9th October 1923.
