Ann Riesberry was born in Edgefield on 13th May 1825 and was the daughter of Thomas Robert Riseborough (1798) and Sarah Broughton. She married John Bristow in Ontario on 19th January 1858. She died on 18th December 1899. Ann and John had two children: John Robert (1859) and Sarah Ann (1862).
