Caroline Rachel Garrould was the daughter of Horace Garrould (1846) and Emma Elizabeth Forder. In 1891 she was living at 108 London Road in Kirkley. In 1901 and 1911 she was living at 312 London Road. She was working as a ledger clerk in 1911. She married farmer Robert Thomas Barnes in the Mutford RD in 1922.
