Margaretta Broughton was born on 1st April 1862 in Willunga, South Australia and was the daughter of Robert Broughton (1817) and Emily Matthews. She married Charles Giddings on 1st April 1882 in Willunga and died at Beulah, Victoria on 14th October 1942.
