Louisa Leigh Bellingall was the daughter of James Bellingall (1831) and Mary and was born in Manchester in 1869. In 1871 she was living at 17 Manchester Street, Reddish. In 1881 she was living at 57 Manchester Street, Manchester. In 1891 she was working as a frame tenter in a cotton mill and was living at 12 Stafford Street, Reddish. She married William James English in 1897 at St. Elisabeth's church, Reddish. In 1901 she was living at 33 Hall Lane, Reddish.
