James Leigh Bellingall was the son of James Bellingall (1831) and Mary and was born at 10 Autumn Street, Ancoats, on 7th February 1861. In 1871 he was living at 17 Manchester Street, Reddish. In 1881 he was working as a machine fitter and was living at 57 Manchester Street, Manchester. He married Mary Ellen Talbot in 1883. In 1891 he was living at 85 Gorton Road, reddish, and working as a comber fitter. In 1901 he was working as a comber fitter and was living at 1 Gorton Road. When Mary died, he married Eliza Thornley in 1907. He died on 27th February 1932 at 37 Barlow Lane, Reddish.
