Thomas Ainscough was born around 1874 in Blackrod and was the son of James Ainscough (1843) and Mary Ann Waring. In 1881 he was living in Little Scotland in Blackrod. He emigrated to Argentina in 1920 and became a Nazarene (Wesleyan) missionary. Thomas was ordained in Buenos Aires in 1938 by Dr. John Morrison. He married an Argentinan woman and had at least 1 son.
