Raymond Broughton and his wife Louisa (Garrould) both died in this house in Kirkley, south of Lowestoft. Raymond died in 1912, and Louisa in 1913. They are both buried in Kirkley Cemetery - just over the main London Road.

Their daughter Kate Knights, was shown as living in the house when they died, and it's possible that the house was actually owned or rented by Kate and her husband, Henry.
